We bring together farmers, food manufacturers, retailers, dietitians, scientists and many others across the food system who share one simple goal: to provide clear, trustworthy, values-led and fact-based information about what we eat and how it gets to our tables.

An initiative of The Center for Food Integrity, a not-for-profit dedicated to building trust in today’s food system, Growing a Healthier America reflects the perspectives of partners from every step of the food journey – from the farmer’s field to processing facilities, distribution centers, grocery store aisles and restaurant kitchens.

We ask tough questions, monitor trending topics, track online discussions and work with recognized experts to break down what’s true, what’s still being studied and what’s simply not supported by the evidence.

We focus on providing content that is grounded in science and informed by experts – from university researchers and Ph.D. scientists to registered dietitians, farmers and food manufacturers. And when experts disagree, we’ll tell you that too, because honest discussion is important.

We don’t promote any specific products, farming practices or processing methods because you deserve clear, accessible, accurate information so you can choose what aligns with your values.
